What to do on a Thursday? ( ・◇・)？

Let's meet friends, dress with korean traditional hanbok, visit a palace and take funny selcas while dancing around the place~

It was cloudy, we didn't sleep too much, but we had fun !

I met Melani and Nieves to spend a day visiting Unhyeongung & Insadong (perfect to buy traditional stuff if u're a tourist).

So... let's buy an entrance ticket:

Under 24 years old ⇒ 300won

Over 24 years old ⇒ 700won

My friends are 21 years old so, they asked for the cheap one, but staff told them to show off their passports to check their age in order to buy the cheap ticket.

I'm 29 years old (31 korean age) and I was supposed to buy the "over 24 years old" one... gave the exact amount of money to the staff, but they tot I was under 24 yo, didn't even ask me for my passport at all xD...

My friends: oh u bitch!! u look really younger than ur real age (╯°Д°）╯︵/(.□ . \)

Once u enter turn left and u will be able to see a place where u can dress up with korean traditional clothes "hanbok" once u pay 3,000won to an ahjumma.

You can't choose which hanbok do u wanna wear ┐(￣ー￣)┌, the old lady will check ur size, hair colour, face... in order to give u what she thinks will be the best one for u to wear.

My poor friend Melani was told to dress the pink & blue "village" one, Nieves dressed the red & yellow "high society" hanbok while I also dressed a "high society" hanbok one, but prettier (⌒▽⌒)☆ (tons of handmade details) cos L'Oreal I worth for it !

The old lady will help u get dressed, after that u'll be free to go around the place and take tons of stupid selcas wearing a hanbok, only for around 30 mins （；¬＿¬)

Unhyeongung Royal Residence was the home of young Gojong, who later became Emperor during the Joseon Dynasty. Under the orders of Queen Mother Jo, Unhyeongung was renovated into a grand, palace-like house with four gates. Gojong’s father, Yi Haeung, or better known as Heungseon Daewongun, continued to live at Unhyeongung for most of his life. Damaged during the Japanese colonial period and the Korean War, the Unhyeongung Royal Residence seen today is a much smaller version of the majestic structure that it used to be.
